What is live metering on InspireMe Pay?
Live metering lets you buy prepaid electricity and also follow the meter itself — its balance and remaining units — from inside the app, instead of only discovering your consumption when the meter runs out.
How do I buy an electricity token?
Open Metering, enter your meter number, confirm the meter details that appear, enter the amount you want to buy and approve the payment with your PIN. The token is delivered to you immediately after the payment succeeds.
Which meters are supported?
Supported prepaid meters from the major Nigerian distribution companies can be used. When you enter a meter number the details are looked up and shown, so you can confirm the meter before paying.
Can I see my meter balance without buying units?
Yes. Once a meter is added to your metering list, its current balance and units are shown in the app, along with the readings recorded over time, so you can check it any time.
What if my token does not arrive?
Every token purchase is recorded with a reference and a status in your transaction history. If a purchase shows as pending or you do not receive the token, the record is there for support to trace and resolve.
